A new cricket oval, two football fields and family picnic areas are all a part of a new $7.7 million park in Bardia.

Located in Dahua Group’s New Breeze estate, the project was recently approved by Campbelltown Council.

The 12,000 sqm Maxwell Creek Oval includes the cricket oval and two full-sized fields for rugby league and soccer, a nature-based play area, flying fox, swings and slides, picnic area, shaded BBQ precinct, swing, climbing equipment and amenities building servicing the sports facilities.

Development approval was also granted earlier this year for the $3.3 million Ingleburn Park and the Northern Corridor connected to Maxwell Creek Oval.

Construction of Maxwell Creek Oval is expected to start in the first half of next year, with completion expected by the end of 2019.
