David Greenshields is Turf Product Manager for Barenbrug UK.
A sports grass specialist, he has worked for Barenbrug for ten years in a variety of R&D, sales and management roles.
Barenbrug deal with nine of the ten Open Championship venues and David can offer insight about grass species usage at the likes of St Andrews and Carnoustie, the host of The Open next year.
His involvement in the recent renovations of Royal Portrush for the 2019 Open will also be of interest.
David has a PhD in Plant Genetics from Edinburgh University and a Master degree in Environmental Biology from St Andrews University.
