A long-awaited masterplan for the North Adelaide Golf Course, which could include upgrading it to international standard, is expected to be made public by December.
Adelaide City Council’s property and commercial associate director Tom McCready said staff were updating the draft plan, potentially worth $20 million, to ensure it met future demand.
It will be the sixth masterplan for the course in the past 20 years.
The Advertiser last year reported that a new multi-million function centre could be built and the course upgraded to international standard as part of the revamp.
This would pave the way for international tournaments to be lured to the course.
Mr McCready declined to elaborate on what developments would be included in the plan.
