“RBT Means You Need A Plan B” is the latest campaign from Transport for NSW, and Mentay are helping spread the word.
A major partner for Cricket NSW, Transport for NSW unveiled the latest slogan around Regional and Metropolitain cricket and sporting clubs in New South Wales earlier this year.
Supplied by Victorian based company Mentay, the sight screens were set up at clubs in Newcastle, Wollongong, Lake Macquarie, Port Macquarie, Quirindi and Lane Cove, where there was also a special presentation welcoming the campaign structure.
The Lane Cove Cricket Club and Lane Cove Council joined in to unveil the sight screens in order to highlight the importance of such a message.
“The Lane Cove Cricket Club is made up primarily of young men and it is important that we help to educate them on the dangers of drinking and driving.
“It is great that we have the Plan B message displayed to prominently for the mon a regular basis,” said Club President Damian Naughton from Tantallon Oval.
The “Plan B” message itself is meant to urge young people to have a second option or ‘plan b’ when out with mates; perhaps considering public transport, taxi, or stayng with friends instead of getting behind the wheel.
