Murraylands golfers will not have to go far to have the chance to tackle a championship course as the Murray Bridge Golf Club prepares to upgrade its course from a par 68 to a par 71 course.

The club has received Federal Government funding of $339,000 to upgrade the course and clubhouse facilities as part of the Building Better Regions Fund.
Murray Bridge Golf Club president Mark Bolton said the club was delighted with the announcement, with the upgrades making a difference when it came to holding events.
“We are really excited about this project as it will transform the golf course into a par 71 championship course, including new driving range and renovations to the existing bar, kitchen and restaurant facilities,” Mr Bolton said.
