Racing Victoria and the Kilmore Racing Club have delayed the resumption of racing at the track, which was set to host a meeting on Tuesday week.
Kilmore last hosted a meeting in November 2018 before work began on a significant upgrade of the course, in a bid to hold more racing at the venue, which is located about 45 minutes north of Melbourne.
The home straight has been widened by five metres while works to improve the camber at various parts of the track were also carried out as have drainage improvements.
RV and the KRC have decided to transfer two meetings away from the Kilmore circuit to give it another three weeks to consolidate.
Racing is set to resume at Kilmore on February 6.
