Royal Randwick Racecourse receives new GreenMech wood chipper

Written by:

Toro Australia has been the official distributor of GreenMech wood chippers since July 2017. Recently  a Arborist 130 chipper was delivered to Royal Randwick racecourse in Sydney through Toro Construction

The Arborist 130 chipper is the smallest GreenMech in the road-tow range but this compact, easy to use, 150 mm capacity chipper is still capable of very high output. The “disc-blade” technology both reduces the noise, compared to conventional chippers, and also extends the sharpening period to only once in approximately 150 hours. This is a feature that reduces downtime, cuts maintenance, reduces labour costs and maximises working performance.

GreenMech is a British based company that has been at the forefront of chipper and shredder design, development and innovation since the 1990’s.  It offers similar values to Toro by offering quality and innovation in the products it manfuactures and it is for this reason they are the top selling brand of wood chippers in Europe.

Martin Lucas, Greenmech’s Sales Manager from the UK recently visited Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney and conducted customer visits and training presentations in each location.

Toro are currently offering 4 models through their construction dealer network and to golf accounts.

  • Arborist 130
  • Aroborist 150
  • Arborist 200
  • SafeTrak 19-28

Toro is also stocking parts for GreenMech products. For more information on the range, follow this link.
