Stephen Bernhard, Executive Chairman of Bernhard and Company Ltd received a coveted Legacy Award for his dedication and commitment to the education and upgrading of the skills of those engaged in the turf maintenance profession in the Asia Pacific Region.
Stephen Bernhard has invested considerable time and resources over the years educating a wide variety of people engaged in the turf industry, in the Asia Pacific region, highlighting the importance of turf health and how ”surgically sharp” cutting equipment can reduce input costs of water and chemicals as well as producing extraordinary playability and improved consistency and green speed. “We have worked tirelessly to develop training and seminars to show how our particular brand of grinders produce amazingly sharp reel mower blades. This helps golf courses present a much more desirable playing surface and produces increased top line profits as well as bottom line saving.
Stephen commented, “helping to develop the Asian golf industry standards over the last thirty plus years has been fun and an education for me and all our team here. It’s really an honour to be recognised for our efforts in this way”
