Toro are taking their new products on the road, with the Toro Red Iron Road Show heading to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
We were lucky enough to head to the Melbourne show to see what our favourite red mowers have got in the pipeline.
Over two days, turfmate were introduced to new and improved products for both domestic and commercial use.
Toro’s new heavy-duty commercial 21-inch self-propelled walk-behind mower has been designed for durability. The deck is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, while replaceable steel wear plates protect the mower against bottom and side impacts.
Several impressive updates have been made to mowers in the TimeCutter® series of zero turn mowers. The mowers are aimed at the home owner.
A new feature is the expanded smart speed control system. This features three ground speed ranges, all changeable with one lever. The ‘Trim’ mode is for trimming delicate areas with more precise control, ‘Tow’ is for towing attachments. And the top speed, ‘Mow’ mode is ideal for mowing wide-open areas.
The new TimeCutter zero turn range also includes an additional deck size, 34 inch, which comes with fabricated deck.
This year, Toro also introduced brand new TimeCutter Zero Turn Tractors. They offer a steering wheel for those more familiar with driving a lawn tractor. They are easy to manoeuvre and time-efficient; the steering wheel has a tilting steering column as a standard function, providing easy access on and off the mower.
Also showcased at the Roadshow are some new ranges of the Z Master mowers for professional contractors. The new Toro® Horizon™ Technology feature in the Professional 6000 Series provides maximum productivity with reduced carbon footprint and at the same time increased fuel efficiency.
We saw some great new features, as well as the same classic reliability and high quality standard that is a given from Toro products.
Be sure to check back over the coming weeks as we release more info on the new Toro products and product features!
