Hurstville Golf Club has received $2.5 million in funding to provide a new pavilion, greens and safe pathways.
The funding is part of a $9.5 million package awarded to Georges River Council by the NSW Government for major capital works projects.
“It has also been been identified that six new greens could be constructed to facilitate the new buildings, as well as new pathways to for safe access for all golf course users.
“The construction of a new pavilion, greens and safe pathways will encourage members of the community to participate in the rewarding pastime of golf, get active and enjoy the wonderful open spaces our area is known for.”
Hurstville Golf Club will contribute $400,000 to the project, with works to start in early 2019.
