The Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Resort, on the mighty Murray River, played host to this year’s VGCSA Superintendents and 2IC Country Meeting.
A golf competition was held on the Monday. Much needed rain held up the start of play with players hitting off around half an hour behind schedule. The 14th hole on The Lakes Course was a Hole-in-one opportunity with a chance to win a Toro GTX Workman for the host Club.
Sadly the GTX survived many close attempts but will back again next year.
Tuesday had everybody waking up to a beautiful day. After lunch Toro Equipment and Irrigation team members presented product updates to approximately 100 attendees.
Highlights were equipment such as the new Toro EFlex 3360 Ride On Greens Mower, GTX Workman, Z Master 7500, Outcross 9060 with Groundsmaster 1200, Green Mech Chipper and irrigation.
A great couple of days were spent at a beautiful location. Special thanks must go to Superintendent Chris Burgess, Assistant Trevor Elliott and the team at Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Resort
